• Petrolatum emulsion properties provide a soothing coating while preventing the adherence of dressing and allowing exudate to easily pass through the absorbent layer
• ADAPTIC Non-Adhering Dressing protects the wound, minimizing pain and trauma during the management and therapy of dry to heavily exuding wounds
• Available in various sizes including a packing strip size, suitable for packing boils, fistulas, abscesses and other draining wounds
• Helps protect regenerating tissue and minimize patient pain at dressing changes

How Systagenix ADAPTIC Works?

• The knitted cellulose acetate fabric mesh impregnated with petrolatum emulsion is intended as a primary dressing to be used with a secondary dressing
• Mesh allows the exudate to pass easily through to a secondary absorbent dressing, preventing maceration and minimizing the risk of pooling
• Knitted cellulose acetate fabric allows Systagenix ADAPTIC Dressing to be cut to the wound size without unravelling or shredding
• ADAPTIC Non-Adhering Dressing removes cleanly from the wound, minimizing pain and trauma during dressing changes
• Adaptic Dressing from Systagenix protects regenerating tissue by minimizing wound trauma at dressing changes
• In turn, this reduces the risk of tissue adherence to both the ADAPTIC Dressing and the secondary dressing on the top of it
