Medline Maxorb II Dressing is an advanced alginate dressing with 100% calcium alginate with superior absorption of fluid ideal for moderate to heavy exudate and wet strength. It is sterile and absorbs drainage. It is available in rope form for filling medium to heavily draining wounds and in sheet form for shallow moderate to heavily draining wounds. The wick fluid vertically helps peri-wound skin maceration and can be worn for up to seven days.

Application of Maxorb II Wound Dressing
Step 1: Remove the dressing from the package.
Step 2: Apply the dressing on th wound by covering all the areas of the wound with slight overlap to peri-wound skin. For deep wounds, loosely fill the wounds.
Step 3: Cover with an appropriate secondary dressing.
