Medline Maxorb Extra CMC/Alginate Sheet Wound Dressing is designed with high wet strength that allows for easy one-piece removal and fast-acting absorption without lateral wicking. Combination of non-woven alginate and carboxylmethylcellulose (CMC) fiber interacts with wound exudate to form a gel, thereby providing a moist healing environment. Presence of CMC improves the gelling and fluid-handling capability and adds strength. Maxorb is a 100% alginate dressing ideal for moderate to heavily draining wounds.

Maxorb Extra CMC/Alginate Sheet Wound Dressing Highlights:

  • Highly absorbent
  • No lateral wicking
  • Superior gelling
  • Easy dressing changes
