How to perform self-catheterization?

Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water for a minute.
Remove Self-Cath Catheter from the pack
Position comfortably over the toilet or on a seat (if draining into a drainage bag).
Clean the opening of the urethra and surrounding areaÂ
Insert the rounded end of the catheter into the urethraÂ with a gentle pressure. When the catheter reaches the required position urine will start to flow. Stop pushing the catheter inside.
When urine stops flowing, remove catheter from urethraÂ
Dispose of theÂ catheterÂ in accordance with local rules and regulations
Wash hands after use.
